Virtual Art Scool
Learn art from home
The story
Why does this initiative exist?
Learn the arts you love from the place that’s most convenient for you.
The world they want to see
Artists and students meet to teach and learn in a virtual space — a digital village — across various disciplines.
What isn't working today
Students must physically arrive at school at times and locations set by the school. This disrupts their ability to earn a living or attend to other personal and family responsibilities that need to be carried out at lesson times and during the travel time to and from school.
What they want to change
Enable students to avoid the need to travel. Allow students to connect and learn the content at convenient times if they can’t join at the lesson time. Allow instructors to save recorded lessons and other content in a digital library available to students for use at any time. Provide students and instructors with a comfortable space to meet, discuss and practice. Reduce the cost of tuition by saving on the expense of renting physical classrooms.
Needs
What we need now
- NeedSpace
A virtual space such as a digital village
The virtual space will be the place where meetings between instructors and students, and among the students themselves, can take place.
Offers
What we can offer
- OfferKnowledge
Professional knowledge across different art disciplines
The instructors who join the school will provide the details of the knowledge offered.
Connections
Where could connections form?
Based on complementary needs and offers, shared topics and collaboration preferences. Every suggestion comes with an explanation — and with what is still unknown.
