Future Initiatives Portal
An open space for initiatives that define themselves as future initiatives — to present themselves, connect and grow together.
The story
Why does this initiative exist?
Future Initiatives Portal is an open digital space for initiatives that seek to create a better, new, or different future. Any initiative can present who they are, what they’re trying to change, who is leading it, and where they are on their journey. Beyond presentation, the portal is meant to enable mutual discovery, connections, collaboration, and learning between initiatives and people working in related directions.
The world they want to see
A world where initiatives working to create a better future can find each other, be visible, learn from one another, and form new connections. A world where ideas and projects don’t remain isolated but become part of a living network of people and initiatives working for change.
What isn't working today
Many future initiatives operate separately, sometimes without knowing about similar or complementary efforts. Knowledge is scattered, it’s hard to discover who is doing what, and connections and collaborations form mainly by chance or through personal acquaintance.
What they want to change
Create a shared place where future initiatives can present themselves and be accessible to others, making it easier to discover people and ideas, form connections, learn from one another, and develop collaborations.
